Design Objectives.
Make every square inch of space and light count for a young family's multi-use needs. Create a productive office that doubles as a comfortable guest room. Playroom and music nook belongings should be neatly housed. Walkout entry and bathroom should to stand up to daily use, with equal attention to given to their visual appeal.

Work Scope.
Creative niches, angled room entries, and custom trim / cabinetry take advantage of a 9'ceiling height and the freestanding under stair volume. Clear maple millwork keeps the palette light. Charcoal slate ties inside to nature outside. Sensible white ceramic tile balances well with a vessel sink and portrait mirror.

Let There Be Light

Design Objectives.
Create a functional and flexible workout space, private and comfortable entertainment room, friendly guestroom, and full bathroom.  Lower level entry and use should not feel like a basement.  Improve efficiency / adjustability of mechanical systems.

Work Scope.
Open stairwell.  Smooth-out extreme wall texture.  Convert wood burning fireplace to gas.  Add double casement egress window with cedar timber well.  Landscape accordingly.  Upgrade HVAC system (Venmar Duo 1.9, Lenox G61 MPV 94% furnace, Honeywell PC 8900 integrated controls).
