Design Objectives: This client’s 1st objective was to find the right “fit” with their contractor; White Crane was the answer. Take the 1950’s era kitchen retain character, while creating better traffic flow, beauty, and functionality. A baker and a cook needed more counter space and capacity to entertain.
Work Scope: Create both baking and cooking stations in a tight space by raising an existing window and adding 5’ of counter and cabinets. Add raised counter between kitchen and dining; bringing guests “into” the kitchen while keeping them from under foot.
